Jo-Ann has owned and managed Toronto employment agencies for more than 20 years.
Her commitment to serving every client as if they were a Fortune 500 account has
fuelled her reputation for providing professional, high-quality recruitment consulting.
People who work with her know that they can count on her expertise, experience,
and strategic savvy to help them reach their goals. A member of the Women Presidents’
Organization, Jo-Ann has created and delivered seminars in business communications.
Beyond business hours, she is a proud tennis mom who strives for balance through yoga,
meditation, and swimming.

Diane Taylor, MBA

For more than a decade, Diane has been a practicing HR generalist in the financial services
community, with key focuses on recruitment, training, compensation, and strategic planning.
Having held a variety of human resources positions, culminating in a period as Citibank’s
Assistant Vice President for Human Resources, Diane brings to her association with Hire
Vision valuable insight into the challenges facing corporations and their HR departments.
In her spare time, Diane volunteers in her community helping to organize and run
recreational activities for seniors.

Christy Edwards

Christy has been associated with Hire Vision since 2003. She excels at both account
management and recruiting. Her background in administrative management and training,
marketing, and customer service—she capped a stellar career at Canada’s largest
direct-marketing company with two years directing the brokerage’s Business-to-Business
Division—has been a foundation for steady success in spotting talent and accurately
assessing clients’ needs. Christy holds an Honours BA from the University of Toronto
in Ethics, Society and Law, and Philosophy. She tackles work challenges with the same
gusto she applies to her off-hours activities, which include Ultimate Frisbee, soccer,
kiteboarding, and performing as a clown at events for disadvantaged children.

Amanda Aikens

The newest member of the Hire Vision team, Amanda hails from New Brunswick
and personifies that province’s legendary friendliness and good humour: Recruiting
literally runs in her blood: her mother was in human resources at Noranda. Amanda
enjoys meeting and helping a variety of people every day, and appreciates that at Hire
Vision, her candidates are not just “a pile of files,” but receive the personal touch
during their job search. Amanda earned her BComm and certification in Human
Resources Management and Industrial Relations from St. Mary’s University. Outside
the office, she enjoys working out, travelling, and staying connected with family and friends.
